So you’re probably wondering what makes our snowballs New Orleans Style.  Senor Gordy’s snowballs are made with an original Ortolano’s Sno-Wizard snowball machine.  Using specially prepared blocks of ice frozen to just the right temperature, the Sno-Wizard transforms the blocks of ice into fine, fluffy snow-like flakes instead of the crunchy ice crystals called shaved ice. 

Once you have your fluffy snowball, then it is time for one or more of over 75 flavors to choose from.  In addition to the many flavored syrups, New Orleans is also known as the queen of cream.  The use of evaporated milk in some flavors creates a smooth creamy taste.  If you choose to, the snowball can then be topped with condensed milk to add just the right touch.
